[HELLO AND WELCOME TO BOAT

there's a boat hanging out on the beach! it's parked. and it's absolutely big enough for ten people to hang out on comfortably. there are cute multicolored fairy lights hanging all over that just work, don't ask me how, and it lights up the boat nicely. scrawled across the side is the name THE JAILBREAKER, and it's just absolutely covered in pirate flags. in fact, if you're invited to this, nimona has probably asked you to make one of those pirate flags - it can be whatever design you want it to be. one of them has a wonky sunset in various pinks and oranges with a shark on it.

on the side of the ship is a cannon. it's the size of a dog.

there are also wanted posters of every single person here slapped across various surfaces on the boat, scribbled in a pink pen. your bounties are super high, and you're all wanted for various crimes that nimona thinks are funny, like stealing a boat or balding people.

the cabin has bunkbeds inside it, as well as a fucking huge aquarium full of goldfish. if you have been to the amusement park lately you will probably recognize that this is where the goldfish came from. there's some mess here and there because nimona's been living on this boat (some of you are probably also hanging out here a lot, so that's fine) but otherwise it's a nice quiet little place to chill if you need time away from the party.

and on the deck is a table with a bunch of food and drinks! there is definitely alcohol. whatever snacks and things there are were all stolen from the konbini unless someone was nice enough to cook and bring things.

[he is here! hanging out. he doesn't know what to put on his flag, though, so he will just. sit here with the art supplies trying to decide what he wants. he also for once isn't wearing a suit or his dumb fishing clothes from the newspaper. he's wearing like. a normal outfit, jeans and a button down shirt. sorry for not doing a fit check but it's basic.]

What's your flag gonna be? [you are legally required to make one or nimona will be sad. she's not even the real pirate in this group but sometimes you like the idea of a bunch of lawless vagabonds traveling around as a found family doing crimes and maybe some good deeds as a concept.]

[ there isn't a lot of time left on this curse so this won't last long, but for the moment, 21 year old datz (?) in his less-accessorized military uniform of many years ago is here boarding this boat and just looking around in impressed confusion. ]

Not really sure what we're celebrating, but— hey, these drinks are for everybody, right?

[ just the slowest of blinks and the vibe is truly just "how is this fair" because he is ignoring datz is old and therefore de-aging would put him here versus nico being 10. but there's a slight grin anyway. ]

she looks at the konbini snacks for a bit before grabbing a bag of chips and a can of iced tea.

[ he's here and also observing the wanted posters with a vague amount of amusement, drink in his hand and squinting softly. ]

She really captured everybody's good side. [ this is a joke. ] What're you wanted for anyway?

I really think I should be worth more money than this. The moon personally put out a hit on me. Guess he thought I was pretty dangerous... must have thought I was some kind of leader to you guys or something.

[just absolutely radiating smugness like yeah the posters look good, she's a genius.]

[ he is wearing this shirt because it's funny. nimona still has his hat and saya still has his beads he has to wear shirts now because he is too naked.

he's sitting on the boat railing facing the party with a drink in hand for the most part, looking and feeling happy but also he's a sad sack who sometimes STILL looks out at the ocean with longing. this is far less important than the generic vibe of feeling very loved because a group of people really got into the pirate aesthetic for him and commandeered a boat and made it their own and he's like. really touched by that. and unfortunately it shows up grossly in the vibes being very soft and thankful and a little shy on top of like. excited tail wagging.

anyway im tagging all of you i just need you guys to know he's really lame ]

[ he is here, mostly just hanging out on the main deck and watching the ocean. he is wearing a shirt and has once again dabbled with eyeliner for a smokey-eyed look, but more importantly he actually doesn't have a jacket today. it took eight weeks but he is finally comfortable with these people enough that he does not have a reason to be bundled up as long as you ignore the claw-like scars peering out from the sleeves on both of his biceps. i'm really only mentioning it because i truly got away not stripping this entire game.

for the most part he's just...happy, maybe. it's still tinged with something a little depressing because of course it is, but he's content to be here watching everyone mingling. sometimes you can catch him wandering the boat, checking on the goldfish or swiping some sort of drink from the table but otherwise he's fine to be here and not here. ]

but hello. she is looking around at the boat while eating snacks. she may look slightly weepy at random points but it is the kind of happy weepy when you are a very openly emotional person who is okay with showing feelings around people who aren't larping as insane cat people. ]

temenos is also here and for once he got the memo to dress a little more casually. rare. he seems to be content mostly wallflowering and watching the others, glass of wine in his hand.

or, you might find him sitting with the art supplies, putting the finishing touches on his own pirate flag, paintbrush stuck behind his ear and settled somewhere comfortable as he's painting some kind of design on it with a sword and a staff.

otherwise he's here keeping his safe emotional distance (what are feelings) and vibing. you might even find him reading a book at some point. like a Loser. what a nerd. ]

saya is here and she is struggling to come up with a flag concept, judging by the fact that she hasn't touched her art supplies at all. but her outfit is cute and she is happily sipping from an opaque purple tumbler that she brought with her from snorm. the vibes are very content? party boat is perfect and mostly all of her friends are here. yay.]
